Charity Run themed, “Happy Feet” that covers the 5km, that is organized to build awareness of palliative care, foster a spirit of caring & serving, and also to raise funds for our patients for providing free Palliative Home Care services for patients.

Charis Hospice is organising our 2nd Online Charity Photo Contest, themed “EVERYDAY HEROES” from 21st – 26th March 2022.

The theme “EVERYDAY HEROES” is a tribute to the many unsung heroes we have worked with over the last 17 years like our brave patients, their loving families and devoted caregivers.

The photo contest is open to people of all ages with an interest in showcasing their photography skills and their interpretation of what “Everyday Heroes” means to them.

This year, Charis Hospice will be taking a break from our annual fundraising charity hunt as we will be celebrating our 15th Anniversary Dinner at Setia SPICE Convention Centre-Penang on the 12th October, 2019 (Sat) in conjunction with World Palliative Care Day. The event will be graced by YB Dr Lee Boon Chye-Deputy Health Minister.

We hope to raise RM200,000 from this event to continue to provide free palliative home care

In line with our 15th Anniversary celebration this year, Charis Hospice recently collaborated with Green Hero in bringing awareness on palliative care and also in reducing food wastage.

The recent Basic Caregiver’s Training Module 2-‘Taking Care of Someone else’ held on the 18th May, 2019 was attended by a small group of people but they were very interactive!
