Package A - Homecare Visits

RM150 Per Visit
Our core service is Homecare Visit to patient’s home. Our team goes in to assess on the patient’s condition and manage the patient’s symptoms. They offer advice to the caregivers and guide them how to attend to the patient’s illness and daily needs. Our team manages up to 60 patients at any one time. 

Package B - Transporting Hospital Beds

RM140 Per Patient
Allowing convenient nursing care to be administered by caregivers at home and providing comfort to the patient resting at home. Charis Hospice loans out beds for FREE but the patient’s family usually pays for the lorry transportation. For the poor and needy patients, Charis Hospice will absorb the costs of transporting beds

Package C - Ensure Milk Supplements

RM100 Per Tin
For various reasons, many patients with life-threatening illnesses may have poor oral intake. Milk supplements taken are useful to improve their nutrition. This is especially so for tube feeding patients.

Package D - DuoDerm CFG

RM70 Per Box
A patient who is immobilized develops skin breakdown easily. The good intention of a family to let their loved one sleep overnight on a more airy deckchair led to pressure sores on the patient’s back after just one night. Special dressings help to take care of pressure sores easier.

Package E - Aquacel AG+ Extra

RM240 Per Box (10pcs)
A patient who is immobilized develops skin breakdown easily. The good intention of a family to let their loved one sleep overnight on a more airy deckchair led to pressure sores on the patient’s back after just one night. Special dressings help to take care of pressure sores easier.

Package F - Continuous Bladder Drainage (CBD Kit)

RM20/per kit X 4 = RM80 for 2 months
Some patients are unable to urinate by themselves and so require an indwelling urinary catheter. The catheter is changed every two weeks. Charis Hospice packs all the different sterile parts needed to do a proper insertion at home. The cost of each pack is RM20.

IRB Revised Guidelines On Donor's Information To Obtain A Tax-Exempt Receipt

The Inland Revenue Board (IRB, or commonly known as LHDN, Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri) has recently issued the revised Guidelines for Approval of Director General of Inland Revenue under Subsection 44(6) of the Income Tax Act 1967 dated 30 January 2020 – Revised Guidelines. The Revised Guidelines supersede the previous Guidelines dated April 2005 (“Previous Guidelines”).

Based on the Revised Guidelines, the individual donor is required to provide complete information of the following details in order to obtain an official  tax exemption receipt from the organisation:-

  • Donor’s Full Name
  • Identity Card Number/Passport Number
  • Complete Address

The Revised Guidelines also states that approved instituition or organisation should not issue tax exemption receipts to donors who failed to provide their complete personal information.
