A fundraiser by KDU University College Penang’s second year Communications and Public Relations students raised RM2,500 for Charis Hospice. Project director Lau Kei Hung said the event themed ‘Gratitude’ was not to only raise funds but to also create awareness on the care of palliative patients. The event was held at a flea market where the students set up booths offering services such as henna painting and eyebrow shaping.
