As we reflect on the challenges of 2020, we had to exercise our creativity during this unprecedented time. Although we had to cancel our primary fundraising event, the Charity Hunt, we pivoted to host the CoronaCut Challenge, and managed to raise RM81,000.
During the CMCO phase, our community rose to the occasion, to opt for a DIY hair cut challenge from home. The enthusiasm shown by our friends and supporters not only provided vital support for Charis Hospice but also brought joy and laughter as participants shared their transformed looks online.
We are immensely grateful to our six Gold Partners namely, OCBC Bank, Agilent Technologies, Boston Scientific, PC Construction, Pentamaster and Magni-Tech Industries Berhad, along with all who contributed to the success of this smaller event.
