Charis Hospice together with Friends of Seniors (FOS) kicked off with our Basic Caregiver's Training Module 1 on the 9th March, 2019 at our premise in Farlim. Attendance was good and we had 27 participants. We want to thank the team, which consist of the staff from Charis Hospice and Friends of Seniors together with our volunteer trainers for a successful event!
All participants had a wonderful time learning and putting into practice the basic skills of taking care of the elderly!
Charis Hospice is very excited to announce that we have reached our 20th year milestone this year and we will be organizing the 20th Anniversary Dinner at Lot 33, Prangin Mall this year for the celebration.
We hope to raise RM100,000 from this event to continue to provide free palliative home care service to those who are going through cancer & other advanced illnesses in Penang.

Charity Run themed, “Happy Feet” that covers the 5km, that is organized to build awareness of palliative care, foster a spirit of caring & serving, and also to raise funds for our patients for providing free Palliative Home Care services for patients.
