This is our second time for this year to hold the Basic Caregiver's training at Charis Hospice. It is a joint effort between Friends of Seniors (FOS) and Charis Hospice. The training was conducted by our volunteers, Ms Sophia Tan (main Nurse), Ms Chan Kheng Mei (main Physiotherapist), assistants Yuvarani Sondron and Ms Chan Bee Yeok.
It was a priviledge to have YB Yeoh Soon Hin- Paya Terubong to grace our event. We especially want to thank YB Phee Boon Poh for the kind donation of RM3,000 specifically channelled for this training.
The turnout was very good , with 34 participants , some from Farlim & Paya Terubong area. We hope to continue to reach out and pass on this knowledge to the community around our vicinity.
