Charis Hospice and Friends of Seniors (FOS) conducted a Basic Caregiver's training Module 1 on 23rd June, 2018 which covered areas such as basic infection control, personal hygiene and grooming, home safety (fall prevention and management), transferring and movement, pressure ulcer prevention, oral feeding, NG care and feeding & medication management.
There were 25 participants for this training and most of them found it to be very helpful and practical.
A very big thank you to all our volunteers who made this training possible and for putting aside their time to teach those who are currently taking care of their love ones at home so that they can be empowered in this area.
