A fundraiser by KDU University College Penang's second year Communications and Public Relations students raised RM2,500 for Charis Hospice. Project director Lau Kei Hung said the event themed 'Gratitude' was not to only raise funds but to also create awareness on the care of palliative patients. The event was held at a flea market where the students set up booths offering services such as henna painting and eyebrow shaping. They also sold clothes, food and drinks. "We managed to raise RM2,500 for Charis Hospice," she said after the event held at the college campus in Anson Road on Wednesday.
